I was thrilled to receive the call from Donna 2 weeks ago informing me about the reunion. Jan ( Gould ) and I married in 1975 and unlike some of our well travelled former classmates we have both pursued our careers in Ontario,specifically Penetanguishene and eventually Ajax/Markham. Jan is a radiological technologist at the Markham Stouffville Hospital and I look after a few golf facilities comprising 72 holes in the Durham Region just east of Toronto. Look forward to seeing everyone again.

Phew! Just barely made it into the reunion criteria since I started at BBCI in 1970, and it's not an event I would want to miss. I have really fond memories of BBCI - what a great school we went to! I'm tagging along with my big sister Sharon and looking forward to absolutely the best high school reunion in history!
After Borden I moved with my parents to Nova Scotia but then came back to Ontario (Ottawa) in the early 80's and I've been here ever since. I married relatively late in life and have two grownup stepchildren (well, grownup untill they need money, of course). I've been working as a writer/editor for the government while struggling to rise above the poverty line as an actor but that seldom happens. I'll be coming to the reunion with my sister Sharon, Lois Porteous, and Dyna Cote, and hope to see many of our old friends.

Glad I found website. Sorry I missed reunion but won't miss next one! Enjoying life in Keswick Ont., for past 18 years. Spent 7 years in CF in Petawawa and Germany before returning to Ryerson in TO in 1980. Got involved in courier business in 1982. Remarried in 1988. I attended BBCI between 1975 and 1978.  Hard to believe that it has been 30 years!  I have many fond memories of my time there.
Feels like I have done a full circle in my life.  I now work at Base Construction Engineering in Borden, right across the road from BBCI.  Would love to hear from anyone I went to school with.

Lifes been great and totally fulfilling. Still have my health, still active in sports and looking forward to full retirement when my daughter finishes university. Too bad I have to move south though. My wife has made it clear she isn't spending any more winters where there's snow, so that probably means Arizona or Mexico.

First attended BBCI in 1965-66 gr 9 and then moved to Soest Germany for the next 3 years reteturning to Borden and BBCI in 1969. One more year in BBCI Gr 11. Then off Nova Scotia and the Military for the next 32 years. Retired now and driving school bus in Orillia part time. Attended the reunion in 87 and have missed the others. Looking forward to 2010. So many good times and have lost track of so many friends and acquaintances

Thank you so much for this web site. I was in Borden from 69 to 73 and started high school in 71. My sister Linda also attented there and finished high school in 71.  So many familier people. I was a very shy person back then.  Sandy Hurshman was in some of my classes.  I am sorry I missed the reunion in 2005 but I would like to attend in 2010.  I lived on the Air Force side by the school . Went to the movies alot when it was only about 25 cents to get in.  I am divorced but live with a wonderful guy in Gravenhurst.  Please let me know if any body remembers me.   Thanks again for the wonderful memories

I left Borden in 1971 after Grade 11 to play junior hockey in Aurora and later Newmarket. After a decidedly average junior career, I played hockey and football at a small New England college (Middlebury). The hockey obsession continued at York University where I played while attending Osgoode Hall law school. I also found time to catch David Shand playing with the Atlanta Flames. I haven't seen David for a number of years but I was intrigued by his now-famous interview in the December issue of Maxim magazine. (David: Are you coming or will I be forced to distribute copies?!) Okay, back to me. When I graduated in 1980, I moved to Calgary during the first Alberta boom. It turned out to be the best move I've every made -- sorry to all you Onatario folks. I've been with the same law firm since coming to Alberta and also spend a lot of time at the rinks coaching 15-year-old hockey players. Needless to say, my two teenaged daughters have developed a sudden interest in the game. I'm also the proud father of two young boys, ages four months and 21 months, who will ensure that Freedom 55 will never be more than wishful thinking in my life. I'm looking forward to seeing old friends in a couple of weeks.
